In This Role:

• You are accountable for the examination of clinical pathology specimens and preparation of reports promptly.
• You must meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
• Providing telephone consultations to clients.
• Collaborating and assisting other pathologists when necessary.
• Supporting laboratory personnel in specimen processing techniques.
• Engaging in pathologist meetings to enhance professional relationships with clients.
• Participation in quality control programs.
• Continuing education to maintain and enhance diagnostic skills.
• Opportunities for professional activities outside routine diagnostic responsibilities.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Fluency in English.
• Familiarity with current topics in clinical veterinary medicine.
• Proficiency in typing and use of dictation equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Required computer skills.
• Preference for experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory.

Certifications:

• Board certification in clinical pathology from American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) preferred.
• Applications from board-eligible pathologists welcomed with support for board studies.
