    The Renewable Grid Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting grid integration and interconnection processes for renewable energy projects across Italy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee grid connection processes for renewable energy assets, including wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
    • Manage applications, technical studies, and approvals with local grid operators (TSOs and DSOs).
    • Ensure compliance with Italian grid codes and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide technical input on grid connection strategies, assessing feasibility and risks during project development.
    • Monitor regulatory updates related to grid connection and electricity market rules, advising internal teams on potential impacts.
    • Coordinate grid compliance testing and commissioning in collaboration with engineering teams.
    • Act as the primary liaison with grid operators, regulators, and technical consultants.
    • Work closely with internal teams, including Development, Technical, and Legal, to align grid connection efforts with overall project goals.
    • Support negotiations for connection agreements and related technical contracts.
    • Analyse grid capacity and connection constraints to identify optimal solutions for project integration.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance grid reliability and project performance post-connection.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • 3–7 years of experience in grid management, electrical engineering, or related roles within the renewable energy sector.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid interconnection standards, and Italian grid codes.
    • Proficiency in conducting grid studies and interpreting technical reports.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
    • Fluency in Italian and English is required.

    Suitable candidates will have experience in grid management, electrical engineering, or related fields within the renewable energy sector. They should possess strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid interconnection standards, and Italian grid codes. Additionally, proficiency in conducting grid studies and interpreting technical reports is essential. A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, energy systems, or a related field is also required. Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
