Consultant Adecco Metro Milano is looking for an accountant to join a prestigious software engineering company

Accountant

Summary / Role Purpose

The Accountant will assist the entity Finance Manager, he/she will be responsible for daily accounting US GAAP-based related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany, banks and other entries.

He/She will also be responsible for the piece of the month-end closing assigned. We offer flexible working for all applicants, with a mixture of home and office working from our Milan location.

Key

Responsibilities:

Maintain local daily accounting and US GAAPbased accounting within Oracle
Suppliers invoices and employee expenses reports review, booking and payment
Customer receipt booking and collection activity
Prepare and sending customer invoices through SDI
Bank reconciliation
Prepare VAT reports, Journal Book, F24 and other governmentrelated returns accurately
Complete monthend closings in accordance with group requirements
Maintain statutorily required documentation
Work closely with the Finance Manager and external fiscal consultants to fulfill tax authorityrelated requirements
Intercompany transactions creation and review

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar business field
Very good analytical skills
Exceptional organizational skills and deep attention to details
Strong MS-Office skills
Understanding of Regional & US GAAP differences
Excellent written and verbal English language & communication skills are required
Proven ability to work in a global team

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Prior experience within a multinational company would be beneficial
Prior experience with Oracle EBS system and OBIEE reporting would be beneficial
Prior experience with Tax Advisor companies would be a plus
