Obtains and analyzes quotes to determine best value, then recommends sourcing solutions based on data and facts collected. Clearly understands the details and how to prepare for negotiations.

Consistently sends out and reviews complete packages and supports negotiations of the basic terms of a contract to support an agreement.

Understand what type of contract is required. Understands key points to leverage beyond price. Understands company standard Terms and Conditions. Monitors supplier(s) performance, elevates issues within the supplier's organization for resolution. Understands and reviews the corrective actions for sustained results. Holds regular performance review meetings with key stakeholders and measures compliance to agreements. Tracks Savings projects and reports accurate forecasts and actuals. Works proactively with other departments to cover plant needs. Develops and executes the tactical materials strategy in accordance with corporate policies, strategic plans & goals. Effectively communicates the Materials related policies, procedures and best practices to the organization and ensurecompliance with same. Works closely with colleagues in the region to improve standardize workflows. Informs management of significant materials issues affecting the company.

May lead, manage and develop a team Profile Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in Supply chain, Logistics, Administration or Economics Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience In Purchasing or Supply chain Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Familiarity with Procurement and Supplier Metrics with flow-down to supplier contracts and performance reviews. Must have an understanding of blueprints and technical specifications.
