We are looking for a Project Manager – Electrical Design to join our client's Design & Construction organization. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will act as the central link between expert engineering teams and on site project stakeholders. Your mission is to lead electrical design activities, ensure that approved technical solutions are correctly implemented, and support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects—on time, on budget, and in full compliance with corporate standards and local regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical Design Leadership & Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical design matters between central engineering experts and local delivery teams.
• Translate high-level electrical design standards into clear, actionable requirements for project managers, contractors, and engineering partners.
• Review and monitor the application of electrical designs during construction, addressing discrepancies, and proposing corrective actions.
• Assess electrical design-related risks and contribute to budget and schedule adherence.
• Maintain transparent and well-structured communication and documentation across all project phases.
• Technical Expertise & Stakeholder Representation
• Provide expert guidance on electrical systems, including power distribution, redundancy schemes, protection systems, and compliance requirements.
• Represent electrical engineering interests in meetings with vendors, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both specialized and non technical stakeholders.
• Oversee and maintain all technical documentation related to electrical aspects of the project.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead and document lessons learned related to electrical design and execution.
• Identify opportunities to optimize design processes, technical procedures, and cross team collaboration.
• Support innovation in electrical design workflows, digital tools, and engineering methods.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Proven experience in managing projects with a focus on electrical design, engineering, within data centers, critical facilities, or comparable high reliability infrastructures.
• Proven success in leading complex electrical engineering projects from design through commissioning.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Solid understanding of critical facility systems (power distribution, UPS, generators, protection systems, fire safety interfaces).
• Experience with commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical installations.
• Familiarity with DCIM systems, particularly for electrical monitoring and control. xkiyazw
