    Position

    We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hardware Development Engineer to join our Electronics Department , located in Asolo . In this role, you will be responsible for the development of Electronic Hardware related to our products, whilst also proposing, implementing, defining testing procedures and processes for new solutions.

    Main Responsibilities

    • You will be responsible for the Hardware development of our Electronics products, in terms of electronic boards and circuits for both production and / or prototyping.
    • Collaborating with our Embedded Firmware Engineers, you will support in the development of new product solutions, advising on potential improvements and testing said solutions.
    • You will be responsible for defining and executing the hardware test protocol on the electronic components: boards and cables
    • Moreover, you will be responsible for the creation and development of prototypes, using your solid technical skills to propose innovative solutions and solid product improvements.
    • You will be fully autonomous in the prototyping phase, utilising your solid soldering skills and strong knowledge on STM32 microcontrollers, their structure and memory organisation.
    • You will be required to maintain and operate the electronics laboratory, which consists of basic electronic instrumentation.
    • You will also be required to hold regular meetings with electronic suppliers and partners, so to select and develop the best solutions available on the market.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 4+ years' experience in Electronics Hardware development or in a similar position, as well as a solid educational background in Electronics Engineering (a Master's Degree in this subject will be considered a strong added value).
    • Solid knowledge of electronics hardware, sensors' hardware (communication lines, power consumption evaluation) such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, battery gauges, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-fi.
    • Good knowledge of main communication protocols: I2C, SPI, CAN Bus, UART and USB.
    • In-depth knowledge of circuits designs as well as solid working experience in using PCB Design and Electrical schematic software such as Altium and Eagle.
    • Strong knowledge of Electronics testing equipment, particularly of oscilloscope and power supply.
    • Solid knowledge and / or previous working experience on Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
    • Good soldering skills and ability to work autonomously on related activities.
    • Fluency in English and comfortable to work in a fully English-speaking environment.
    • Knowledge or exposure to programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python and / or Java will be considered a plus.
    • Any exposure to mathematical computation programs such as Matlab, Scilab and / or Octave will also be considered an added value. xkiyazw
