was founded in Parma in 1910 by Gino Pizzarotti, subsequently transformed in 1945 into a limited liability company by Pietro Pizzarotti, father of the current Chairman Paolo Pizzarotti, and became a joint-stock company in 1961 with a share capital of 250 million euros.

Today it is in its fourth generation, represented by Michele Pizzarotti, Vice President of the company, together with his siblings Enrica and Pietro.

Over the years, Impresa Pizzarotti has undergone a continuous evolution to become one of Italy's leading general contractors.

The company has always aimed at constant development in the realisation of complex works:

road and motorway infrastructures, including those under concession, tunnel works, airports, dams, industrial infrastructures, railway construction and health and residential building projects.

Posizione:


We are looking for the
Construction Next Director of Innovation to help us deliver on our strategic goals and make sure that we enhance the opportunities for cross-border trade and innovation co-operation in the years ahead.


You will work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer and will have overall responsibility for the development, delivery and scaling of Long Term Service Agreement's (LTSA) innovation and entrepreneurship supports/initiatives.

This will include the development and effective rollout of a corporate innovation and entrepreneurship strategy.

Working closely with the Sales and Finance teams, who will provide relevant innovation data sources including policy and market intelligence data and insights, you will be further responsible for translating this strategy into delivery, through a wide range of innovation and entrepreneurship supports.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Lead the formulation of LTSA's innovation and entrepreneurship strategy, in line with Impresa Pizzatti SPA overall aftermarket service strategy.
  • Lead the development, implementation, promotion and scaling of existing and future supports that could be delivered by the organisation maximizing future opportunities and especially within the priority work areas defined in the organisation's Corporate and Business Plans.
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of a wide range of supports and associated key performance indicators which make up Impresa Pizzarotti SPA's innovation and entrepreneurship offerings to ensure the targets set in relation to value and impact are met.
  • Lead, develop and empower the Construction NEXT Innovation and Entrepreneurship team through strong leadership and clear objective setting, ensuring delivery of organisational objectives.
  • Identify and promote emerging technologies to enhance delivery of Construction NEXT programmes/services.
  • Work closely with the other Innovation, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services and sharing of information.
  • Management and utilisation of financial and staff resources to maximise outputs and ensure compliance with all financial controls and procedures.
  • Establish and develop strategic relationships and drive collaboration with key stakeholders including external trade and business representative organisations and SME's.

Requisiti:


Requirements:


  • Master Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Industrial Engineering or Economics;
  • A minimum of 20 years senior management experience working in an economic or business development role.
  • Experience of leading the development and delivery of innovation or entrepreneurship/business growth strategy, initiatives or programmes in response to business needs, thus demonstrating a high level of commercial awareness and understanding of economic and business issues.
  • A strong capacity for strategic thinking with proven experience developing strategy to successfully deliver the aims and objectives of an organisation at senior management level.
  • A comprehensive understanding of SME's and the wider economic issues affecting them
  • Proficiency in English and Italian written and spoken.
