Support the Primary Site Superintendent and follow his directions

  • Work closely with Project Manager and Primary Site Superintendent to fully comprehend the scope, schedule, and technical requirements, then implement fieldwork accordingly
  • Implement fieldwork in accordance with sitespecific planning documents (e.g., Work Plan, Safety Plan, Quality Control (QC) Plan, etc.), permits, and clientspecific requirements
  • Lead the field team and subcontractors in safety talks daily, in conjunction with the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO)
  • Evaluate competencies of heavy equipment operators, and help train personnel in safe operations of equipment and scope of work, when necessary
  • Evaluate competencies of laborers and other craft personnel; train and/or mentor when necessary
  • Manage daily work activities (i.e., means and methods) of field crew
  • Assist in estimating required resources to complete the job on time according to the schedule
  • Coordinate with subcontractor and MVL Team for timely materials and equipment delivery
  • Assist in creating schedules for craft personnel and subcontractors
  • Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary
  • Make recommendations to the project manager and Primary Site Superintendent for changes in field operations to best meet construction deadlines, and implement the same following approval from project management
  • Implement management techniques that are costeffective and efficient
  • Oversee craft personnel and subcontractors.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vicenza, Veneto: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
