Get onboard the Collins Aerospace Engineering team and play a part in expanding the opportunities to develop new products and challenge the state of art technology.

Principle Accountabilities:


  • Work in manner that adheres to all the companies Ethical Standards, Information Technology Policies, People Philosophies and EH&S Policies and Procedures
  • Receipt and management with an interfunctional team of Request For Proposals timeline (ROM, RFIs, RFPs)
  • Ensure that after kickoff the business process is running properly in accordance with the Collins Management System prescriptions; capture, analyze, document the necessary business process requirements and organize the process documentation
  • Collaborate with BD Director and Engineering, and the teams directly to facilitate, pipelining and prioritization of relevant RFI/RFP backlogs
  • Attending Customer meetings as required
  • Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the process and plan the way ahead
  • Assist Business Development stakeholders and Engineering to align the product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Capture/conduct relevant market analysis, in collaboration with local BD and Actuation, to support opportunities identification
  • Collaborating with PMO, Engineering, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance
  • Postproposal followup activities

Personal Characteristics/ Qualifications:


  • Degree qualification in Engineering or other STEM/business disciplines
  • Minimum 2 yearsexperience within an engineering or manufacturing domain within aerospace and defense industry
  • Structured approach involving written traceability, including discovery and requirements gathering
  • Proven analytics skills, business modelling, evaluation, and visualization
  • You have crossfunctional experience working with other disciplines
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to empathetically communicate Customer expectations
  • Operates with the highest level of personal integrity.
  • Computer literate; familiar with general PC software (e.g. Windows, MS Office)
  • Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of roles, skills, experience and personality types
  • Good written and oral English language skills
  • Able to undertake domestic and overseas travel as required
  • Flexible approach, calm under pressure and responsive to change
