- Independently manage multiple certification projects, ensuring compliance or non-compliance with applicable safety standards, and meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality in all work.
- Expedite quotations, determining necessary tests and samples, evaluating testing efforts, and coordinating internal and external communications.
- Evaluate complex, unique, or atypical product types while concurrently overseeing multiple projects.
- Sustain high productivity in line with company expectations.
- Create laboratory work orders, review test data and reports.
- Foster clear, transparent, and timely customer communication related to project management.
- Conduct on-site assessments and/or testing at customer sites, involving flexible domestic travel via various transportation methods.
- Perform risk and hazard analyses of test procedures with a focus on safety aspects.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency for mentoring and conducting technical reviews.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering; alternatively, state-certified Technician or Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience.
- Profound knowledge of standards and testing procedures.
- Experience in circuit breakers, power distribution, or related areas.
- Familiarity with CSA standards (e.g., CSA C22.2. No series, 274, 4, 5, 14, 94.1, 94.2) and UL standards (e.g., UL 60947-series, , 489, 98, 508, 50, 50E), and ideally, the North American certification process. Experience in related standards, other schemes, laboratory and witness testing is also a plus.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German and French skills are highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with exceptional customer service abilities.

This presents an attractive opportunity to join CSA Group. We are seeking a Product Safety Engineer (m/f/d) for Industrial Equipment to join our European Industrial Team. This role is primarily based in Plattling (GER), Milano (ITA), or Arnhem (NL).
