Multination Company, leader in rail systems, is looking for a TACTICAL BUYER.

Under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, the selected resource will be in charge of the following activities:

  • Execution of MRP
  • Controlling tasks (order process, rescheduling, stock movements, man-agement of customer orders for trading goods)
  • Handling of logistic incidents and clarifications with the relevant counterparts (goods receipt area, warehouse, forwarders,)
  • Confirm the material availability to production planning and/or sales order management
  • Exception management in case of errors and special processes
  • Running process mining tools to identify process inefficiencies
  • Missing parts management (reactive and proactive) with the operations team
  • Management of material return in case of quality incidents
  • Forecasting process for suppliers to ensure material availability
  • Clarification of invoice price differences
  • Management of delivery performance including root cause analysis and action plans
  • Management of inventory / Turnrate levels and obsolete stocks (IwD)
  • Management of optimized lead times and supply chain flexibility
  • Maintain all necessary SAP master data to run business and ensure material availability
  • Agree and create schedule agreements with the supplier
  • Supplier selection (competitiveness, technical feasibility, capacity)
  • Negotiation of contracts, prices and logístical frame conditions under TCO perspective
  • Tool and FAI orders
  • Creation of local commodity strategies in alignment with central commodity management
  • Support/lead makeorbuy projects together with internal stakeholders
  • Identification and planning of savings projects in close alignment with commodity management
  • Project lead and execution of savings activities within the local organization
  • Handling of price increase requests from suppliers
  • Identification, initiation, and management of projects to improve the cost structure of dedicated products
  • Leverage improvement potential in terms of delivery performance and lead times based on evaluation of supplier's value streams

Professional skills required:
years' experience as Buyer / Purchase specialist in industrial context

  • Knowledge in Logistics and Supply Chain processes
  • MRP / ERP system, knowledge of SAP MM is a plus
  • English fluent
  • MS Office
  • High affinity for IT tools, data management and analytics
  • Ability to work under pressure
The contract and the salary will be proportionate to the experience gained.

Contratto di lavoro:
Tempo pieno, Tempo indeterminato


Stipendio:
Fino a €45.000,00 all'anno
