The M&A Team in Italy is growing and looking for a motivated, junior Consultant to join them
The M&A team is currently going through a period of significant growth in the market whilst also servicing an existing large base of clients.
Consultants in the M&A team work on a wide range of interesting projects including ESG management consultancy, advisory and due diligence covering decarbonisation, EHS, climate risk and social/human rights aspects.
To support the successful delivery of our growth ambition, the team is looking to appoint a motivated, detail-oriented entry level Environmental Engineer who will support with the delivery of EHS audits to a range of clients from the financial services (including private equity) and the corporate sector (manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food etc.) and with a passion for sustainability.
- Job Responsibilities:_
- Environmental, health and safety (EHS) audits to support mergers and acquisition, regulatory compliance audits, supply chain audit programs.
- Audits on environmental, social, governance (ESG) issues, to help companies and corporations identifying reputational risks and opportunities for sustainable development.
- Supporting project managers in requested activities such as research for information, writing reports, proposal preparation, etc.
- Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including proposals
- About you:_
- Ideal 1 to 2 years of relevant experience across EHS (HSE) and experience or interest in developing experience in sustainability disciplines (ESG) as a consultant.
- A Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or other relevant disciplines.
- A specialization in energy or civil engineering or experience in the sustainability/carbon sector would be considered a plus.
- Working knowledge of English (C1) is required, knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred French and/or Spanish).
- Good knowledge of Italian Environmental and EHS legislation. Knowledge of the international EHS standards will be considered as an advantage.
- Ability to multitask, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.
- Commitment to being responsive to our clients' needs and meeting transaction schedules.
