Posizione:


Italdesign is looking for a positive and service minded, driven and self-motivated by passion for cars, flexible and hard working person, who would be part in Infotainment Development Team as HMI Specialist.


Responsibilities

  • HMI responsibility for vehicle functions. The aim is to ensure the achievement of all agreed technical, qualitative, economical, and project milestones goals;
  • Regular interaction and management of all the stakeholders involved in the project assuring compliance in terms of timing, performance, cost, and validation;
  • Change requests management;
  • Evaluating the costs reduction proposals for the respective system;
  • Develop digital display interactions which will include understanding existing/new features and how they will logically be implemented in existing digital devices or all new designs;
  • Design and development of the User Interface with interactive contents to represent HMI logics and flows;
  • Work closely with UI designers to deliver production graphics to the component supplier;
  • Work with feature owners and Component specialists to develop new features that will become part of the digital displays interface;
  • Supports the development of advanced infotainment features/functions and their documentation in the requirements tool chain;
  • Analyze Requirements, Functional Specifications against the target SW;
  • Interface with customers through workshops and design meetings;
  • Coordination with other design/test departments and suppliers steer;
  • Project scheduling, management and issue tracking;
  • Issues investigation and resolution;
  • Generating technical reports and various presentation material to communicate issues, achievements, and technical information for project evaluations and information sharing across the organization.

Requisiti:


Key requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in the UX/HMI and product development domain;
  • Experience in requirements definition, derivation, construction, and management;
  • High level experience in following the entire cycle of HMI development (writing specifications, stakeholders reviews, HMI validation);
  • Experience with HMI lowfid prototyping tools (e.g. Adobe XD, Figma);
  • Experience with graphic development tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator);
  • Knowledge of Human-Machine Interaction principles;
  • Knowledge of Change Management flow;
  • Knowledge of the main project management tools;
  • Strong background in the automotive domain is a plus.

  • High level of autonomy;
  • Good crisis management skills to handle pressure from project challenges;
  • Previous experience as single person of contact with suppliers;
  • Available to travel frequently.

Education:
Master's degree in Human-Computer/Machine Interaction related domains


Language skills:
Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated
