Position Summary Job Purpose:
Providing technical solutions in customising and re-engineering Rotorks current product portfolio, to support end markets in winning key strategic group projectsMain Responsibilities:
focusing on winning significant strategic opportunities today, by translating knowledge to create solutions Implement engineering focused on creating solutions through rapid and flexible multi discipline problem solving, pulling from and customising the Rotork product portfolio Working closely with commercial and end market on major strategic opportunities where there is no appropriate offering from within our standard portfolio Providing cradle to grave technical support on key strategic or large value projects including any visits that may be required both in the UK and overseas Guiding and supporting the advanced solutions team to ensure delivery of business objectives and plans on time and in budget Working closely with operations and testing to practically build and test solutions Ensure appropriate adherence to high standards of quality, health and safety and risk management of customised solutions Working closely withother engineering pillars (NPD, PIE, R& I) to develop appropriate methodologies to support the handover or support of solutions as appropriate Working closely with other engineering locations to ensure global Rotork relationships Provide guidance to the wider business during the project selection and proposal processesRequired skills and experience:
Strong problem solving to develop customer and business focussed results Able to balance the short-term focus on results with longer-term interests Adaptable and able to cope with the unexpected, manage problems
