As a Localisation Account/Project Manger you will be responsible for managing the language validation projects globally, together with the coordination and delivery across a range of divisions for a global account.

You will be working collaboratively with your account management, planning, & production team colleagues, and our pool of freelance writers and suppliers.

You'll own - and be accountable for - each project from the point of project setup, driving it through to successful execution, ensuring that we produce the highest quality.

Reporting to Language Services Director/s on all Language Services process activity as required, and Account Director as applicable.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee daily language validation projects, serving as primary contact between suppliers, our teams and end client
  • Analyse client information and full validation briefs, schedules and defining the best language QA and / or localisation approach
  • Accountable for project status, ensuring linguistic quality and service always meet expectations
  • Identifying new strategies, approaches & workflows for your accounts for continued improvement.
  • Adopting and implementing best practices and processes to streamline management and all associated admin consistently with other regional Language Services Team processes
  • Attending internal team meetings to discuss and agree processes and unified, centralised ways of working
  • Attending client meetings as necessary to discuss projects briefs, requirements, deadlines and budgets
  • Putting together detailed and tailored linguistic briefs, for linguists and writers and always ensuring deliverables are in line with original client brief

Qualifications

  • Qualifications
  • BA or MA in Translation, Localisation or similar language qualification or experience
  • 24 years of proven experience in a transcreation / Translation project / account management role
  • Experience with Project Management tools
  • A thorough understanding and genuine enthusiasm for marketing transcreation and translation
