NPI Project Leader


The purpose of this role is to provide leadership in the introduction of New Products in Parma site and the implementation of major changes for existing products, ensuring they are properly planned and managed from conception to completion.


In this role, you will

  • Be responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of strategic projects according to the CMC governance model and to the launch plan agreed with the markets.
  • Be responsible of leading a crossfunctional team at Site level, offering mentoring and guidance as needed; act as the point of contact for the global CMC project team.
  • Develop project plans, set goals, ensure that the project has an approved budget, resources, milestones in place and deliver the project within those expectations.
  • Ensure that the project has an endorsed governance in place and lead relevant meetings as the Site Project Leader (i.e. Site Steering Committee).
  • Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders both internal (i.e. Site Leadership Team, Tech transfer Leader) and external (i.e. R&D, CMC Leader and Global Supply Chain functions involved).
  • Monitor, track and report on progress, deviation and performance, including budget (for major projects the Project Leader could be assisted by a Project Manager)
  • Ensure that Risk assessment, Risk communication and action planning are completed in accordance with our Risk Management System within the relevant business area.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in leading teams or managing projects in the Pharma industry is considered a mandatory requirement.
  • Knowledge of project management framework and risk management principles
  • Good communication, problemsolving and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective stakeholder management.

_ Preferred Qualifications:
_


  • Knowledge of drug product technical transfer principles (from R&D/CMO development to commercial production) in the Pharma industry is a plus.
