Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Develop adidas activation strategy and supervise the implementation across all trade channels (online & offline) for selected Accounts in accordance with global and adidas EUROPE guidelines and the local strategic plan
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide input into the creation, within the Wholesale Channel, omnichannel strategic plan, driving the implementation of the activities defined together with Brand and GTM functions and aligning with adidas EUROPE omnichannel calendar at Country Level
  • Create Account Marketing Plans for key w/s accounts in country, including support presentation materials for/with Sales Teams and DPC / DS. The plans need also to compliment overall channel and category strategy.
  • Within account marketing plans define, implement and evaluate digital, social and media activities and CRM initiatives, where needed, to support the accounts into different funnel and according to guidelines and threshold.
  • Create and execute the initiatives in line with brand guidelines briefing Global ConcepttoConsumer on any additional marketing needs for the local market
  • Ensure the Global/Market brand calendar is followed throughout the market and that any account execution complements this.
  • Coordinate campaigns and productfocused messaging in partnership with Newsroom, Brand Communication, Media and SpoMa Managers sticking the Seasonal Campaigns calendar
  • Partner with adidas Community Brand Manager to leverage the adidas community into conversion through partner retail stores

  • Be the expert on current and upcoming social and digital channels and use the knowledge to increase consumer engagement and conversion. Use social media monitoring tools to report on metrics while continually finding ways to improve awareness/engagement/conversion through testing new digital initiatives with accounts;
  • Manage and monitor assigned budget, in line with Direct Manager's guidelines and in full respect of internal NTP procedures
  • Assist in gathering feedback to adidas EUROPE Channel Activation on performance of concepts and on toolbox readiness
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in trade / brand marketing and/or sales (preferably in wholesale and in the sporting goods industry)
  • Project management experience
  • Good level of digital funnel and levers to influence parameters
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Good negotiation skills/ relationship building
  • Strong commitment and accountability, problem solving & flexible attitude
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience leading marketing and communication initiatives to create consumer engagement and demand
