The ES Sales Engineer plays a key role in expanding the company's market presence by promoting high‐performance solutions. The mission of the role is to support customers and partners with strong technical expertise, guide them in selecting the most efficient HVAC systems, and ensure compliance with project requirements from early design to execution. This position contributes directly to business growth, customer satisfaction, and the development of long‐term partnerships.
What You\'ll Do
Promote technical proposals, quotations, and tender documentation to consultants for projects.
Develop sales opportunities and promote system solutions to contractors, engineering firms, and building owners.
Provide technical expertise in system design, load calculations, product selection, and overall HVAC solution engineering.
Collaborate with internal sales teams, consultants, and clients to ensure accurate specifications and optimal system configurations.
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for external customers and internal staff.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and technical partners to support ongoing business growth.
Monitor industry developments, competitive trends, and new technologies within the HVAC sector.
Support project execution stages, including design review, installation guidance, and coordination with service teams.
What You Must Have
Bachelor\'s degree in Energy Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
2–5 years of experience in HVAC engineering or technical sales, preferably with VRF and chiller systems.
Proficiency in HVAC design and calculation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP).
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, combined with effective negotiation and customer‐facing skills.
Ability to analyze complex systems, identify root causes, and provide practical, high‐quality technical solutions.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to technical detail.
Nice If You Have
Prior experience in sales engineering, project management, or HVAC consultancy.
Understanding of standard contractual terms and bid processes within the HVAC market.
Experience with medium‐to‐large commercial or industrial HVAC installations.
Knowledge of energy efficiency standards, building codes, or sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED).
Ability to work autonomously and as part of cross‐functional, multi‐disciplinary teams.
Willingness to travel for customer visits, technical support activities, or site supervision.
Additional certifications (such as F‐Gas license, Project Management credentials, or energy efficiency qualifications) are considered a plus.
