    Terna is looking for a BIM Specialist to join the Engineering and Plant Building Policy team at its Palermo office.

    Main activities:

  • Development of Building Information Modelling (BIM) strategies, analysis and optimisation of processes
  • Preparation of documents for information management and specifications in BIM context
  • Preparation and updating of procedures and policies for planning and construction
  • Digitalisation of planning and construction: analysis of planning and construction processes and use of data-analysis tools to identify opportunities for improvement through digitalisation and BIM
  • Identification and use of new tools in the context of BIM and processes for planning and construction: definition of requirements, information documents, tests and pilot projects
  • Coordination and support for the development of BIM projects.

    • Necessary requirements:

  • Specialist degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or similar
  • Knowledge of planning and construction processes in the context of infrastructure and industrial systems
  • Experience in the BIM and/or digital twin fields with consulting businesses, companies or engineering firms
  • Experience in the implementation and/or application of BIM processes and tools in the field of infrastructure and industrial systems
  • Experience in the development of digital models supporting the lifecycle of assets
    Basic knowledge of software/systems for BIM and planning and construction (Authoring, Common Data Environment, Site Management and Project Management).
