Essential Toronto Experience:
First impressions are everything As a Room Attendant with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every Guest, ensuring Guest rooms are comfortable, inviting and clean.
The luxury our Guests experience will ensure their return.Consistently offer welcoming, friendly and warm service to external and internal guests.
Provide intuitive service, engaging with external and internal guests and anticipating their needs.
Foster positive cross departmental relationships to create a seamless experienceSupporting company and hotel policies and procedures including the promoting and participation in EES, Health and Safety, and Voice of Guest initiativesClean and sanitize all assigned guestrooms and public spaces including:
dusting, making beds, soiled linen/garbage removal from rooms, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning and disinfecting, cleaning furniture, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with suppliesFollow detailed cleaning standards in both stayover and vacant rooms as set through our ALL Safe – Stay Well, Leading Quality Assurance and Accor's brand standardsConsistently update and record all cleaned rooms in provided mobile devicesReport any maintenance needs required in guest rooms, service areas and public spacesCommunicate any specific guest requests or concerns with a Housekeeping leaderParticipate in deep cleaning of rooms as requiredReturn and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping OfficeWorking safely to prevent injuryPerforms other related duties and follow hotel standards as assigned/applicable.
Will work weekends, holidays and shift work as scheduled Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervisionAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position include but are not limited to the following:Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbsConstant kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingFrequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsStanding for entirety of 8 hour shift
