Valmet is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Controller to join our team in the Sesto San Giovanni, Milan office on a 2-year temporary contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis, assisting in financial planning, supporting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Play a crucial role in supporting the preparation of accurate and timely financial and adhoc reporting and analysis.
Offer valuable support by providing financial information and business analysis for planning, decision making, and controlling for each unit.
Assist in drawing up annual forecasts and business plans.
Assist with interim and yearend internal audits.
Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met in conjunction with internal standards and external regulation, providing support to the business if required.
Support colleagues in managing VAT number difficulties.
Support on management control of bank guarantees.
Support on suppliers' risk assessment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration.
13 years of experience in a similar role.
Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
Reliable and discreet person.
Teamworkoriented.
Detailoriented.
