Duties:


  • Manages the assignment of Brigade assets to satisfy operational requirements and mission taskings.
  • Coordinate operational strategies concerning intelligence support activities in response to global threats.

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on SSBI and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • May be required to carry a pager or cell phone during on call status outside normal duty hours.
  • May be required to deploy to exercise or contingency locations to provide expert support, possibly for 30 days or longer.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time.

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GG/GS13 that prepared you to do this job. Specialize experience is defined as experience developing contingency operations and military training exercises in accordance with intelligence policy; AND make recommendations on the validation of requirements for intelligence support. This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.
  • Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligencerelated research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.

This experience should demonstrate:

Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.


  • Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.
  • You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

  • If an employee brings an infant or toddler (up to 3 years of age) to an overseas location, and that infant or toddler, but for the child's age, is entitled to attend the DoDEA on a spacerequired basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation , then the Military Department responsible for Early Intervention Services (EIS) will provide the infant or toddler with the required EIS in accordance with the eligibility criteria consistent with DoDI and DoDM
