What you will do
As the Sales Manager for the Italian market, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitious sales goals and establishing Haier Nahui New Energy Platform as a key player in the renewable energy sector.
Market Strategy Development:
- Analyze the market to identify key trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the renewable energy sector, targeting specialized distributors, electrical wholesalers, and DIY shops.
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and establish relationships with specialized distributors, electrical wholesalers, and DIY shops across Italy
- Negotiate agreements, partnerships, and contracts to expand the distribution network and increase market penetration.
Sales Leadership:
- Setup and lead a highperforming sales team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategies.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback in a timely and effective manner.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert knowledge on renewable energy solutions and positioning Nahui as a partner of choice.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector to inform strategic decisions.
- Leverage market insights to adapt sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Sales Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular reports for management review.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures to ensure continuous growth.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales, preferably within the renewable energy or related industries.
- Strong network of contacts within the Italian renewable energy market, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a history of driving sales teams to exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Italian and English.
- Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategies.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Italy to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit distribution partners.
- Fluency in Italian is essential and as well as good working knowledge of English; additional languages would be an advantage.
