The AM represents the company on his/her territory and he/she is responsible for achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in the assigned Area coordinating the related sales force.

He/she implements the proper initiatives and activities to enhance the sales performance and constant business development in alignment with the S&M Director.


Key duties and responsibilities:


Organization:

verage time 40%**- Key player in the division's team. Responsible for building and sharing best practices. Inspirational to others

  • Monitoring and ensuring that sales channel is always the most appropriate one
  • To deliver, operate in full alignment with other company functions such as Service and Logistic/Customer Service
  • Assuring that the Sales Force is fully aligned with company directives, strategies and culture
  • Ensure the execution of sales activities in an efficient way and in a timely manner from the his/her Sales Team
  • Ensure the proper Tender Management Process
  • Ensure the proper usage of CRM
  • Represent the company, the team and the product portfolio during events
  • Set the targets among the team in an objective way, accordingly to the opportunities keeping high motivational approach
  • Build a strong and credible relationships with the sales account and Key Customers
  • Check and propose the training level for the sales force in according to marketing manager
  • Key contributor to the Working Capital management (DSO and DIO as KPI to stick with)

Market monitoring:
average time 20%


  • Monitor competitors in his/her area and market activities and prepare adequate analysis and reports
  • Track and report commercial actions performed by competitors
  • Identify, propose and implement marketing opportunities accordingly to the territory dynamics and in alignment with the strategies plans of the company with the Marketing Manager.
  • Monitoring and ensure sales channel and customer satisfaction
  • Positively contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results

Sales activities:
average time 40%


  • Managing a sales Team in his/her area in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate set goals in a timely manner
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Develop, implement and review longand shortterm sales strategies in alignment with the National ones to gain Regional Market Share
  • Determine long term success by proposing different business development strategies
  • Provide the necessary support to the sales force in his area to generate market leads discovering and generating sales opportunities
  • Plan targets for the team and ensure that they are timely achieved
  • Analyze the budget and profitability through costeffective methods
  • Define in coordination with S&MD the most appropriate price strategy
  • Plan and effectively execute a sales strategy to gain the Area Market Share
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:


Each organization shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure that all activities required by this part are correctly performed and shall establish procedures for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities.

Training shall be documented.


Experiences:
previous background and work experience as account manager (at least 3 years)


IT Skills:
Microsoft Office package, CRM (SalesForce)


Languages:
Fluent Italian and fluent English.


Education:
at least technical diploma (preferable degree), with experience in similar sector
