    Responsibilities of a Lead Product Software Engineer:

    • Participate in different stages of the product life cycle like defining requirements, design, implementation, and integration.
    • Collaborate with Architects to evolve the product architecture by identifying trends and suggesting optimal choices.
    • Master the methodologies and technologies related to the software development life cycle and its tools.
    • Offer guidance to the Scrum team, focusing on driving quality and productivity through code reviews and technical coaching.
    • Explore and recommend next-generation technologies to tackle present and future technical challenges.
    • Maintain a holistic view of the system and cooperate with Product Management to address business requirements.
    • Take the lead during challenging situations within the team.

    Two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) are dedicated to connecting with colleagues in the Lucca office as part of the development department reporting to one of the Product Software Engineering Managers.

    Qualifications to contribute to CCH Tagetik:
    Eagerness to learn, strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships.

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
    • Proficiency in Java or C# and their application development frameworks like Spring.
    • Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular 2+.
    • Understanding of Design Patterns, API design, SOLID principles, and Clean Code practices.
    • Competence in test practices including unit, integration, and E2E testing with automation.
    • Familiarity with Relational Databases like SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SAP HANA.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills with attention to detail.
    • Effective time management and presentation skills.
    • Expertise in application performance analysis and optimization.
    • Experience in software requirements analysis and technical documentation.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure.
    • Knowledge in designing Distributed Systems and microservices architecture.
    • Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English.

    Additional knowledge in:

    • NoSQL databases.
    • Usage of SDLC tools like Jira, GIT, IntelliJ, Maven, npm, and CI/CD practices.
    • Understanding of Virtualization and Orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Knowledge of Publish-subscribe concepts and implementations like Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
