For a Biotech Multinational Start Up company at 2° round financing backed by a leading European life sciences venture capital firm, We are looking for a Financial, Planning & Accounting Manager (FP& A Manager).

The FP&A Manager reports directly to the CFO and manages finance and budget while ensuring administrative an operation support to a complex and flexible environment.

For this position, it is required at least 10 years of experience in the Life Science sector and a strong start-up background (ability to setting up financial procedures,..).

Italian fluent, English fluent

Main purpose of the job
The role covers both operative and strategic tasks together with internal stakeholders and external advisors:

the financial & budgetary planning

- the full cycle of accounting process
- the administrative and operations support

Responsibilities

Lead the budgetary process including the establishment and the follow up of the budget and the forecast
Provide quarterly reporting (financial and operational) and financial forecast
Produce Company's Accounts in liaison with external accountants
Animate yearly Financial Audit cycle with external auditors
Monitor Company's Cash Management (Bank relations, payment & rolling cash forecast)
Manage Company's payroll in liaison with third party payroll provide
Establish with external tax advisor's support
Tax & VAT returns, Research Credit and other Fiscal declaration
Manage the supplier's contracts (followup, negotiation of the services) within the Company's procurement Policy
Manage administrative and operations activities (such as lease activities, insurance policies, HR documentation )
Produce ad hoc business plans, nondilutive funding analysis, market studies, analyses of investments and financial / commercial partnerships as requested from time to time by Management or Board of Directors.
