Overview of the role

The mission of the QA and PC is based on 4 main axes:

  • Continuous improvement of the quality of the products and the quality results of the plant, by measuring, analysing the associated action plans by using statistical analysis method.
- to study and put in place standard procedures in order to reduce the number of rejects identifying the set up for each equipment and best formula. To control and reduce the variation of the most important parameters of the product/process.
- managing the incoming projects since the initial steps on setting the specifications requested by the customers to final step onfollowing the production of the material and their release.
- updating of the main material documents like CDS; ITPS; Importante Azienda by controlling and monitoring that updated process data are available.
It also includes providing interrelation skills between quality; production team; sales department; marketing dep. and customer service. To support the leadership and guidance of the quality manager in a safe environment.


Responsibilities:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES:
supporting the overall lab activity.
Optimizes the communication and collaborate efficiently with the lab and production teams
Proposes improvements
Continuous improvement oriented
Keep the level of quality for the products in line with what requested by the customers.
Develop a strong problem solving process to ensure the continuous improvement of the processes and products.
Support the development of the quality team's competencies.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

A chemical engineer


Experience:

At least 2 y experience in quality
Lean 6 sigma
Team-working oriented
Good English even if not fully fluent

Soft skills:
hands-on person, tenacious, able to work in a team and open relationships.
