Technologist - Material and processes for energy transition

YOUR TEAM
You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where experts in engineering, robotics and medicine collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.
The Center for Sustainable Future Technologies is seeking to appoint 1 Technologist that will have a key role on planning, managing, monitoring and implementing the activities necessary for the successful completion of the COSyET Innovation Technological infrastructure.
In particular, the activity will include:
- Supporting the implementation of the laboratories (laboratory realization, instruments technical requirements, procurement, installation of the instrumentation)
- Supporting the Principal Investigator and the Infrastructure Manager to design operative plans
- Monitoring the scientific, technical and financial advancement and, if necessary, supporting the Principal Investigator and the Infrastructure Manager for proposing modification and new solution to make the project more effective
- Supporting the Principal Investigator and the Infrastructure Manager in the management of communication and dissemination activities, in order to contribute to the development of information, training and reporting material on technology transfer, targeted at all the stakeholders.
- Supporting the Principal Investigator and the Infrastructure Manager in the management of relations with all the members of the PPP.
- Supporting the Principal Investigator and the Infrastructure Manager in preparing the meetings, (proposing decisions and preparing the agenda, preparing the minutes of the meetings) and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- A PhD in Engineering or Physics and similar disciplines
- Research experience in technologies for the energy transition
- Experience in technology transfer activities related to energy transition
- The ability to properly report, organize and publish research data
- Documented experience in coaching junior scientists
- Good command in spoken and written English
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Author or coauthor of scientific publications or patents in sectors relating to the materials and technologies covered by the project
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem solving attitude
- High motivation to learn
- Spirit of innovation and creativity
- Good in time and priority management
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
