JMA is looking for a 3GPP RAN Standards Engineer to be a part of our Standards Team within R&D, attending 3gPP RAN Plenary / RAN Workgroups.

Collaborating with R&D Developer Teams and Product Line Teams to define key technology concepts and requirements in the RAN Domain in line with standards evolution.

Responsibilities Representing JMA in 3GPP RAN Interface with other JMA's teams in order to identify main technical requirements and prioritize the standardization topics consistent with JMA vision Analyze RAN standards contributions/positioning of the major players Prepare 3GPP meeting contribution documents Preparereports and provide periodical status updates for work iteM/Features of interest Requirements Bachelor or Master degree in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering 2-5 years' experience as a RAN Engineer Knowledge and understanding of the 3GPP mobile telecommunications system (5G and 4G Architectures) and 5G protocol stack (3GPP Layer-2 protocols and network interfaces) Good Analytical and research skills High skills in teamwork and interpersonal communication in international environment.

Will work closely with our Italy team.

Travel up to 20% both Internationally and Domestic LI-DD1 Milano / Product Management - 5G RAN / Full-Time
