General context of the project
Education pathways to Italy for refugee unaccompanied children in Niger entering Italy with a student visa (COMET)


General purpose of the position
Supporting the integration and employment of the refugee unaccompanied children entering Italy with a student visa


Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Job placement orientation targeted to the refugee unaccompanied children through group and individual meetings
  • Support to the refugee unaccompanied children in finding job opportunities, getting in touch with perspective employers, preparing their CV, checking contract proposals, addressing possible issues raised by the employer or by the child

Education

  • Qualification as educator

Professional experience

  • Experience in job placement orientation with young migrants and asylum seekers

Professional requirements

  • Knowledge of job placement mechanisms and opportunities;
  • Communication skills with young migrants and asylum seekers

Languages

  • Italian
  • Any other language will be considered a plus

Personal requirements

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Objective oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Mentoring skills
