    Job Title: Land Acquisition Manager

    We are seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Manager to drive the growth of our solar project pipeline in Italy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and acquire suitable land for photovoltaic projects across Italy.
    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify strategic land acquisition opportunities in high-potential regions.
    • Negotiate land purchase agreements, lease contracts, and other necessary legal agreements with landowners, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company standards.
    • Work closely with local authorities, permitting agencies, and legal teams to obtain all necessary permits and approvals for land use.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, land scouts, and local communities to facilitate smooth land acquisition processes.
    • Collaborate with the development, engineering, and permitting teams to ensure that land acquisition aligns with project timelines and technical requirements.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on land acquisition progress, risks, and opportunities for senior management.
    • Stay updated on land use regulations, zoning laws, and environmental restrictions that impact PV project development in Italy.
    • Expand and manage a network of land contacts, including agents, landowners, and local officials, to secure new opportunities and enhance the company's land acquisition strategy.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: Strong experience in land acquisition, preferably within the renewable energy sector or related industries (e.g., real estate, infrastructure).
    • Network: Strong land scout and landowner network.
    • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Italian land use regulations, zoning laws, and environmental permitting processes.
    • Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in negotiating complex land deals and contracts.
    • Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
    • Autonomy: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
    • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within Italy to oversee land acquisition activities and meet with stakeholders.
    • Language: Fluent in Italian and understanding English.
