Adecco Consultants research for a highly reknown General Contractor operating in the Data Centers sector a figure of EHS & Quality AdvisorPurpose
Responsible for the provision of Quality Systems ISO 9000, health, safety and environmental advice, information and guidance, ensuring that Company and legislative requirements are implemented fully resulting in Injury and Incident Free Workplaces with zero tolerance towards non-compliances.
Responsibilities
Ensure implementation of company and legislative EHS requirements in all places that the company is undertaking activities
Advise company and project management on all aspects of health, safety and environmental issues
Advise the Managing Director and the Company Safety Manager of all serious accidents and incidents
Compile and regularly update EHS procedures, manuals, guidance notes and the like
Ensuring that all risk assessments are kept up to date and that the Company Health & Safety Statements are reviewed annually
Conducting training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on Quality systems, environmental, health and safety practices and legislation.
Ongoing management of the quality system in accordance with ISO9000:2000 as well as with the business requirements
Management of project quality audits
Conduct quality second party audits on supplier and sub-contractors as decided by the management or as per project specific audit programmes
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Essential
Degree or equivalent in Health & Safety
Construction Skills Certification Scheme card holder or equivalent
2-3 years minimum construction experience
2-3 years minimum Quality / safety management experience
Remain cognizant of EHS legislative changes
Highly Desirable
IOSH Membership
Driving Licence & own transport
ISO Lead Auditor Certified
