We are currently seeking new talented individuals to join our Danieli Research Center Team.


Job Title:
Researcher, Postdoc


Background Field:
Computational Physics, Computational Fluid Dynamics or Finite Element Method


Location:
Buttrio (UD), Italy


Responsibilities:

The project is composed of studying and simulating the
multiphysics liquid-solid phases of continuous
casting process.

We are looking for a
postdoctoral researcher who is willing to work
with a team-sprit in a closed collaboration with steel-making experts and engineers.


Technical Requirements:


  • Ph.
D.

in Physics or mathematics with background or experience in one of the following fields:


  • Computational Physics
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics
  • Finite Element Method
  • Good knowledge in programming languages such as Python or C++
  • Optional knowledge of opensource software such as OpenFoam
  • Good fluency in written and spoken English
