Milano e provinciaWe are looking for an expert professional, focused on high voltage substations, for large global engineering projects.
Reporting to the Engineering Director, the senior engineer will have the following responsibilities:

Prepare project documentation:
technical specs, drawings, Bill of Quantities,

Cover all project phase:
feasibility, tender and bid evaluation, basic engineering, front end engineering, detailed engineering.
Develop plans, specifications, and drawings for transmission line designs.

Contribute to determining the optimum location, height, and type of transmission line structures on the plan and profile drawings (Tower Spotting) considering technical, financial, social and environmental factors.

Prepare engineering budget estimates and proposals.
Prepare construction budgetary estimates.
Review of design documents prepared by contractors.
Interface and coordinate with clients and contractors.
Manage deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary design team(s) and outsourcing (engineering firms).Attendsite surveys and meetings with client and/or contractors.
Support to project management for schedule, budget, general organization, etc.
Act as project manager for small TL projects.
Make sure work is done according to the requirements of valid QHSE management systems.

Requisiti:
Master Degree in Electrical or Structural Engineering.
10/15 years of experience in transmission engineering.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders within and outside the organization.
Fluent English.
Willingness to frequently travel abroad for short/medium stay business trip (globally, at least 30% of the time).
Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).

The following additional requirements will be appreciated:
Professional experience in the use of specific SW simulation tools as PLS-CADD, DIG-SILENT, etc.
Experience in the commissioning and FAT activities
