    Barilla G. & R. Fratelli is looking for a Western Europe (WE) Operation Controlling Business Partner and Logistics Controller within the Finance unit. The position, based at our Headquarter in Parma, will report to the Operations Controlling Business Partner Senior Manager and to the Controlling Senior Manager.

    Job Purpose

    The role serves as the finance point of reference for the French Supply Chain, acting as a bridge between the Plant Controlling team, the Logistics team, Region finance, and category finance. It provides a full comprehension of the economic results and supports plant and market in the decision-making process in the medium and long term. The role guarantees the cost planning and controlling of Western Europe logistics costs with all planning and controlling accountabilities.

    Key Accountabilities

    Support the Finance function management in controlling, particularly by:

  • Running business cases and financial analysis to evaluate Capex initiatives in compliance with corporate rules and procedures.
  • Contributing to evaluating and monitoring continuous improvement projects aimed at value creation in coordination with the other functions involved.
  • Supporting the feasibility process in defining reliable cost profiles for FCR/TPE/P&G.
  • Challenging forecast updates and ensuring accuracy to support profitable growth of the business.
  • Guaranteeing the cost planning and controlling of Western Europe logistics costs during closure and forecast processes, taking advantage of the available systems in order to have a deep understanding of the logistics KPIs.
  • Supporting the Logistic and Operations VP in defining BDG targets and contributing to the operative plans to reach them accordingly.
  • Working closely with Supply Chain Network Design to provide reliable industrialization plans and product allocation optimization, considering variable and fixed costs impacts for both COGS and Logistics.
  • Contributing actively to the Finance Future Fit program and similar transformation initiatives in F&A unit.
  • Monitoring and updating existing work routines, processes and reporting in coordination with other functions if needed in order to highlight areas of improvement and simplification.
  • Promoting the culture of Continous Improvements and Benchmarking analysis between Plant and Logistic controlling and WE Region finance.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Can-do attitude and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to create cross-functional relationships and project management skills.
