For an important client Company that deals with assembly of automotive components and, more in particular, a global leader in mobility safety, Importante Azienda Professional is looking for an:

APPLICATION ENGINEER


The worker will be allocated in a technical structure and will be responsible for managing the project, from a technical point of view, monitoring budget and costs.

In particular, about the needs and the requirements of the customer, theobjectives are:

  • Reads Pre-SOR / SOR Information and reviews with Product Engineering (as needed)
  • Receives and analyzes SOR from Customer
  • Identifies base design & quote options needed
  • Identifies engineering, design, testing & system requirements
  • Provides/Creates Engineering & System Budget(s) ensuring content is correct & meets team requirements
  • Schedules BOM Content Review
  • BOM & Budget Review & Agreement
  • Provides Program & Design information to Purchasing to quote/estimate new items
  • Identifies changes in BOM & budget for Importante Azienda round quotes
  • Initiates/Supports CTS for delta cost options
  • Technical customer interface and ownership of customer approvals for VA/VE projects
  • Determines design direction & key content with Product Engineering
  • Influences and enhances technical image with our customers
  • Contributes to Program Management in our quest for flawless launches

Skills required:

Education:

Engineering degree, mechanical or electronic address;

Professional experiences:
5 years minimum experience in Automotive business;

Languages:
English (fluent), additional languages are advantageous.

Additional skills
MS Office, CAD system knowledge is advantageous, Numerical simulation knowledge is advantageous.


Complete the profile:
Organization skills;
Ability to work for objectives;
Proactive approach, resilience and problem-solving skills.


Employment contract:
Direct placement with remuneration commensurate with actual experience.


Place of work:
Orbassano (TO) with availability for eventual business trip (in Italy and abroad).
