The Position

  • As our Demand Planning Advisor, you will be responsible for managing demand planning activities across Italy and Malta, in close crossfunctional collaboration with finance, marketing, sales, external affairs, regulatory and regional office. The main purpose is to secure timely and balanced supply of Novo Nordisk products for affiliates under responsibility. The position reports to the Head of Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Furthermore, you will:
  • Ensure robust demand planning, by analysing short / long term forecasts and trends via demand monitoring tools, developing scenario planning, and taking corrective actions.
  • Roll out and drive affiliate demand review within the monthly S&OP process with relevant stakeholders e.g. Marketing and Sales, Finance, External affairs; Ensure timely collaboration for launches of new products & discontinuation of withdrawal products with Marketing & Regulatory (including risk and opportunities)
  • Act as single point of contact for key stakeholders both internal and external with regards to demand planning activities.
  • Proactively generate smart business updates and supporting datadriven decisions.
  • Lead process improvement projects for streamlining demand planning processes, support other supply chain optimization projects and digitalization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • To be successful for this position, you possess solid analytical skills, stakeholder management, and have experience in Demand Planning in international environment
  • In addition, you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or any related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, and project management
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and complex environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyse large amounts of data and make decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in working with crossfunctional and crosscultural teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems. Experience in OMP demand planning module preferred.
  • Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
