    RINA is currently looking for a R&D Business Support Advisor to join their team in Genoa, Italy in the Consulting Planning, Monitoring & Business Support Division.

    Mission
    The R&D Financial Manager oversees financial planning, analysis, and management of research and development projects at the engineering company. They ensure R&D initiatives align with RINA's financial goals and drive innovation and growth.

    Key Accountabilities
    Financial Planning and Budgeting:
    • Define the project budget structure and ensure compliance with the Programme Financial Rules
    • Monitor project expenditures to align with the budget and report accurate timing

    Business Proposal and Support:
    • Assist in financial coordination for EC funded proposals and national/regional schemes
    • Prepare and submit proposals timely and support the consortium for project management

    Collaboration:
    • Work closely with R&D teams and project managers to provide financial guidance and support
    • Liaise with partners for research proposal submissions and maintain consortium relationships

    Education
    Master's Degree in Economics

    Experience & Qualifications
    1-3 years experience in financial management, preferably in R&D or project-based environments. Experience in managing finances for research projects and strong skills in financial planning and analysis are required.
