Role summary:
Develop and implement Brand Activation Plans

  • Lead the Local Activation Plan per brand, in collaboration with the HUB centralized Marketing Team. Develop and Execute the Commercial Plan, with particular focus on the 4 P's analysis (Product, Place, Price and Promotion).
  • Maximize the EXECUTION of the annual plans into the Point of Sales, increasing the brand visibility through Perfect store and Category Management projects. Ensure to match the sales cycles needs and the peak of seasonality. Continually collaborates with crossfunctional team to ensure that the brand meets the defined unmet customers' needs.
  • Check campaign performance through consistent critical metrics measurement. Develop relationships with internal and external partners, gathering insights to implement at local level the brand strategies
  • Handle the budget assigned, maximizing the efficiency of the actions implemented to optimize the Return on the Investment. Follow the requirements related to OTC/SOP collaborating with Regulatory, Medical Affair, Health Care Compliance and Legal Departments. Ensure successful NPI (New Product Initiatives) launches in the Market. Provide centralized and regional teams with the requested input on NPI business cases, estimating the opportunity behind and the volumes necessary for the forecasting process.
  • Analyze the profitability and efficiency of the category/brand actions executed, continuous looking for takeaways to maximize the business and the P&L sustainability
Be a counterpart to the local channel teams and major customers.

  • Responsible for deployment of the brand at channel and / or customer level through NPI presentations, training material and customer tailored promotional support (NPI, as well as other shopper activation initiatives)
  • Provide the channel teams with all the product and marketing information and material needed. Align on customer targets and give input on tracking measures, in line with the Activation Plan. Ensure relevant product & shopper training for sales team with support of regulatory team.
  • Monitor the Market / Insights
  • Be knowledgeable on syndicated data use and interpretation, having the responsibility for indepth Market Share Tracking on Channel and customer and discuss relevant actions with the sales and Hub Brand Teams respectively.
  • Provide Hub Marketing with competitive information & lead local challenges and relevant category insights based on behaviors of shopper trends.
Handle local BTL budget (BME) & full brand P&L

  • Key role in the country governance model:
  • Act as local representative at Hub Brand Alignment Meetings (international forums, monthly meeting with centralized Southern Europe cluster colleagues and multi-functional commercial teams), having the accountability of country activation related to the OTC business and raising up local business needs to increase the sellout and product rotations. Input on local issues and requirements to brand strategy & brand plans.
Ensure high quality local adaptation for consumer facing marketing material:

  • Disaster check for TVC, Digital assets, joining the events with external partners and journalists/influencers/bloggers.
  • Review local artwork and sign off Input planning volume forecast for NPIs following the internal process

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years Marketing and/or Trade Marketing experience, preferably in pharmacy channel (expertise in OTC will be a preferred title).
  • Strong analytical skills, structured approach, and results oriented.

  • Fluent in English
