We are looking for our new

HEAD OF SALES, CUSTOMER SERVICE and MARKETING ITALY.


JOB PURPOSE:

The main purpose of the role will be to shape, drive and manage our Sales, Customer Service and Marketing function, define the country level strategy to deliver business growth and profitability, improve competitive positioning and provide best in class services to the customers in line with business objectives and Group guidelines and policies.


KEY TASK:


  • Define the function's strategy in line with country's one, business objectives, guidelines and policies.
  • Direct and drive operational plans, measures and budgets to achieve defined results.
  • Lead, oversee and control strategic activities and initiatives across the country with significant impact on overall results and/or high business risk potential.
  • Drive market acquisition and retention strategies in order to maximize sales growth in the country and optimize profits.
  • Drive customer retention, business growth and profitability by supporting customer strategies, contract negotiations and supply chain management strategy.
  • Establish and drive appropriate processes and infrastructure to support growth, sales performance and optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop marketing strategies and budget for the country and specify marketing programs and service range in line with overall DPDHL guidelines.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous strongest sales and customer service experience (at least of 10 years) gained in international and/or domestic freight industry,
  • Solid and structured knowledge of the target market and competitors.
  • Strong analytical, strategic and planning thinking and change management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team, with a caring and feedbackoriented leadership style.
  • High level of energy, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Able to manage complex relationships and juggle priorities.
  • Excellent client relationship and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English; any other European language will be a plus (especially German).
  • Educational qualification in line with the proposed role (Master's/Bachelor's Degree).
