We are looking for a profile that is passionate about the world of transport, with solid experience in managing clients and team management.


Located in Novara and reporting to the Head of Operations Italy, the profile we are looking for is that of an active person, with the capacity for teamwork, service-oriented, decisive, with people skills and with a high degree of autonomy.


What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Providing the vision, planning and insights in order to achieve the objectives based
  • Managing a team of experts in Brokerage, motivated and with great orientation to results
  • Coordinating the collaboration and communication between Brokerage and the rest of the stakeholders involved in the process to identify and eliminate existing barriers
  • Achieve your sales targets and develop new business through effective selling of brokerage services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect for leads and build a pipeline, through a variety of techniques including heavy coldcalling
  • Negotiate with customers to secure profitable rates and client satisfaction.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with customers to uncover new opportunities within current customers
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry including rates, carriers, load capacities, and equipment
  • Identifying the barriers that prevent us from growing and the necessary resources to unblock them
  • Analyzing and monitoring the business performance in a proactive way
  • Follow established procedures and protocols regarding HVS and HRC loads to ensure the integrity of the shipment and the
    XPO brand
  • Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day for maintaining accuracy in sales and volume

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 year of professional experience in the road transport sector, with special focus on full load
  • Languages: English, fluent conversation level. Other languages are a plus

I'td be great if you also have:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Team Management
  • Planification and Organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience presenting information and data in a sales environment
  • Excellent negotiation skills
