Eaton's Vehicle Group division is currently seeking a Finance Director and Controller to join their EMEA team. This position will be based in Turin, Italy.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Director and Controller you will be responsible to manage the activities of the finance function for the Vehicle Group in EMEA region.

These responsibilities include pricing of products, internal and external reporting, forecasting and planning and compliance with all applicable financial reporting requirements (Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP, etc.).

This position is responsible to build organizational capability within the finance function of VG EMEA Region and to provide leadership and direction to the Region and its leadership team in the pursuit of business goals and objectives.

Essential functions:
Direct activity for Accounting & Finance and Cost Estimating for VG EMEA Region
Lead forecasting efforts for VG EMEA Region for final monthly results, rolling forecasts, profit plan and strategic plan. Ensure that business is meeting financial targets over both short and long term horizons
Identify financial risks and develop mitigation plans. Protect assets & interests of Eaton Corporation
Communicate financial performance to the leadership team in VG EMEA Region. Focus on performance to goals
Build Organizational Capability in finance function across VG EMEA Region ; Ensure that top talent is hired and retained; Provide training opportunities for finance employees and give honest and open feedback to aid in the development of finance talent
Ensure that VG EMEA Region is compliant with all applicable law and regulations in regard to financial reporting and results; Lead VG EMEA Region to receive annual certification for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Serve as the liaison between VG EMEA Region and the Eaton Corporate financial community; Provide all necessary reporting requirements accurately and ontime
Perform financial analysis as required to support business decisions regarding acquisitions, divestitures, plant closings, pricing actions, make vs. buy decisions, etc.
Drive continuous improvement and cost out in VG EMEA Region and in the finance function in VG EMEA HQ

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
Minimum 1015 years of experience in a managerial or team leader role within manufacturing, complex matrix environment; cross functional leadership experience is an advantage

Skills:

Global business experience is highly desirable
Must have broad knowledge of financial, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, materials management, quality systems, business development and business law
Strong leadership experience
Self sufficiency in managing simultaneous assignments; flexibility; strong analytical/problem solving skills
Self sufficient in organizing deadlines, deliverables, and instructions for a large group of Plants; capability to leverage resources
Outstanding presentation and communication skills and experience in interaction at the highest levels of a company
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and strategic planning skills
