We are the Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team
- a fast-growing Engineering team of customer obsessed & passionate individuals based across EMEA that drive positive customer outcomes and experiences in an online delivery model.


FastTrack for Azure (FTA) is a customer success service to help customers confidently onboard to Azure and getting them on the right track to build right, architect right, the first time.

FastTrack for Azure takes a solution-centric approach and provides customers with Engineering resources, best practices, tools and resources that drive Azure usage.


We are looking for an experienced engineer with a balance of deep SAP on Azure expertise along with good cloud experience and a passion to drive customer success.


Responsibilities:

Helping customers migrate and/or build SAP workloads throughout their Azure journey towards production and expanding their cloud footprint

Subject Matter Expert for SAP on Azure

Directly engage with customers to validate new solutions and POC's; update modules per learnings and feedback

Be a thought leader and share knowledge with others through best practices, solution documents, engage technical communities, build automated self-help solutions


Qualifications:

Experience engaging with customers and partners to understand their architecture and map those into Azure IaaS for SAP and HANA tailored service

Hands-on experience installing and migrating SAP environments across multiple databases, including SAP HANA with Linux and Windows, preferably in the public cloud

Experience in sizing and defining Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines for SAP

Experience in High Availability and Disaster recovery for SAP technology including HANA on premise/on Cloud or a Hybrid environment a plus

An understanding of Azure fundamentals, such as governance, security, and oversight

Basic knowledge in areas of compute, network and storage.

Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, connectivity (geo-redundancy, CDN, VPN) and tools


Customer and Partner Focus:
proven experience driving business impact based on a deep understanding of customer and partner needs


Strong communication skills:


ability to communicate complex topics effectively to different audiences such as SAP Basis administrators, Network administrators, and senior leadership or customers.


Dealing with ambiguity:
must have the ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple demands and shifting priorities


Collaboration:
exceptional collaborator on complex multi-faceted programs

Linux/OSS experience is a plus

Knowledge of other cloud platforms AWS/GCP is a plus


Qualifications Recommended:
Proven experience working as a SAP Technical Consultant or Architect with a mix of hands-on, technical lead
- and or architecture roles

Consulting and/or Delivery experience a plus
