Here at The English School of Turin (T.E.S.T) our objective is to educate in a fun and interesting way to better impart knowledge on our students and challenge them to learn more.

After Many years of working in the field we feel as though we have close enough to the best formula to make that so.

In an increasingly smaller world with people travelling and working all over the world we know how important learning an alternative language is for many people, wether they are 6 or 66 our aim is to help make that a reality.

Teacher

Responsibilities:

PREPARED TO TEACH FOR CERTIFICATIONS (IELTS, TOEIC, Cambridge)
Cultivate a hunger for knowledge among students and engage them to learn
Encourage curiosity and continued improvement
Help set goals for students and work with the class to help them attain these goals
Keep an organised and orderly classroom that promotes creativity and learning
Plan curriculum for course
Create and prepare daily lesson plans for appropriate age and learning skill level, making adjustments when needed
Create and/or print out instructional material for classroom use
Assign work by means of inclass worksheets, projects, homework, presentations, reports etc.
Help students oneonone who need extra assistance

- methods, practices and any new knowledge in your field

Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

Compassionate and confident leader
Very strong verbal and written communication skills
Clear, consistent and respectful communicator
Attentive listener
Creative and able to create a fun learning environment
High level of patience with experience as a mediator
Keeps a positive attitude and can control emotions
Efficient time management
Ability to take on many tasks at once and prioritise them by importance and relevance
Good at problem solving quickly under pressure
Excellent collaborator
Outstanding critical thinking abilities
Strong organisational skills
Good classroom management
Proficient in the language you will be teaching
Relevant experience
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
Upstanding ethics and integrity
A passion for learning and sharing your knowledge with others
