Role scope

The Accounting Intern supports the Accounting Team in the different activities in its scope.

The position is a balance between recurring activities - such as invoice registration, payment process, report, and comment processing - and ad hoc analyses and activities, useful to the Team or based on requests from Finance or other departments of the company.

Main activities

Invoice registration- Support in the management of the entire invoicing cycle, from the arrival of the passive invoice to the payment to the supplier, in relation to all company assets - Financial Planning & Analysis Team, Trade Marketing Team, Trade Markenting Spend Team, Customer Service Team, in order to acquire a basic understanding of the whole accounting process;- Register of all types of Italian and foreign passive invoices by learning how to manage the correct combinations and costs;

Payment process- Actively support and work on payment process in order to ensure the correct management of timing and deadlines;

Report and comment processing- Support the team in the preparation of reports for internal use and managing requests of internal and external customers;


Other activities- Support and acquire skills JD Edwards and Basware (ERPs);- Support the optimization and innovation of digital processes;- Collaborate with other Pernod Ricard Affiliates for the registration of passive invoices;- Collaborate with international suppliers;- Collaborate with the Head of Administration & Customer Service for analysis activities.


Required Skills and Qualifications- Student or recently graduated in Economics with a strong focus on Administration, Finance or Controlling;- Strong analytical skills;- Highly organized and detailed oriented approach;- Team player attitude;- Good interpersonal and communication skills;- Motivation to work in a dynamic, international and ever-changing environment;- Advanced Excel;- Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
