Role description:

The Virtual & Physical Validation Lead covers a position of great responsibility for the project's success.

The role involves virtual analysis (system based), quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and support to define corrective actions for any failures encountered during the development phase and the life cycle.

Building up and leading the V&P Validation Team to the success of project
Defining the scope of the virtual validation and testing within the context of each release/delivery
Deploying and managing resources
Planning, deploying and managing the simulation and testing effort for any given engagement
Ensure Simulation accuracy
Ensure Test sufficiency
Ensure Simulation & Test effectiveness
Ensure Test efficiency
Ensure Simulation & Test progress
Ensure Product quality
Define the tools (system level) to support the virtual analysis
Define the facilities specification to support the testing activities (type of benches, related power, lab, proto shop,..)
Provide the list of necessary equipment to both support bench and vehicle measurement/validation

Requirements:

Engineering Degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position or at least in one of the 2 branches (either Virtual Analysis or Testing Manager)
Knowledge of the Mechanical components integration and development
Manages knowledge and information
Commercial acumen
Business planning and evaluation
Good leadership skills
Strong influencing skills
Stakeholder engagement
