Purpose of the JobTrain Validation Engineer (TVE) operates inside a Project development team and he/she is the Project reference person for the Validation activities at trainset levelHe/she leads the Validation activities for the Train level during tender and project execution.
He/she commits and manages Quality, Csot and Deliveries for Train Validation (TV).He/she reports functionally to the Project Engineering mamaneger of the project.
Main ResponsibilitiesAccountable for :
Implementing the standard process and related methodologies and tools in order to ensure Validation efficiencyWriting test procedures and test reportsTest ExecutionEnsuring the timely issue of the Validation proves (including proves of lower level systems and components) and consolidating Validation filesProviding structured REX to feed costing activities, and to enrich the Train Validation metier technical repository
Responsible for :
EHS KPI and compliancy to EHS rules in Validation activitiesReviewing part of the Sub-System Validation Plan relevant to test at Train level and accepting (to be included in Train Validation Plan) or rejecting considering other possibilitiesManaging the Train level validation activities, creating and maintaining the Validation PlanManaging the Train Validation project teamManaging the consolidation of Train Validation commitment and performance in due time for the tender or the projectApproving Train System handoverApproving reviewing Train Test Procedures / reportsManaging the validation schedule, optimizing the validation sequence in relationship with the train design and configuration maturity and test means availabilityFor Validation scope establishing & organizing Technical Interface with customer, producing Customer Documents and obtaining Customer Approval when necessary.
Educational Requirements and Experience Experience in team and project management: 1 to 3 years depending on team size, multi-metiers or multi-sites team and project, including Customer and external stakeholders Technical ManagementTrain system knowledge (system analysis, railways) : at least 2 yearsTests organization capability, knowledge of planning toolsKnowledge of Standards & RegulationKnowledge of Work Package ManagementFluent in englishRequired electrical habilitation level.
