This role demands a good analysis capability, ability to challenge the status quo of current processes and customer focus. Will liaise daily with other Company departmentsm, including colleagues from other countries (mainly UK). She/he is able to work in team and effectively share information and bring 'fresh' ideas to the team

The role is based on internship contract designed in conjunction with a local University.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Basic knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, proof reading and collating complex information into reports.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Data entry management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent relationship skills at all levels.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a cooperative and demanding environment.
  • Respectful, honest and reliable with a high integrity sense.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite
  • Upper intermediate English knowledge is required

Work Environment:


  • This role is based at the Linate (Milan) office in Italy with opportunity to perform part of the activities in smart working
  • Need to manage confidential information on regular basis.

Experience:


  • No prior experience needed
  • Strong motivation to learn, collaborate and contribute is required

Education:


  • Required: University degree or 90% of exams passed
  • Legally able to reside and work in Italy.

  • Support current processes assuring respect of accounting policies, tax rules and deadlines
  • Work in conjunction with other company department in order to build reliable forecasts
  • Support Italy finance team in performing Month end deliverables
  • Support Business controller in implementing process improvement plans
Contract Management

  • Contribute to the implementation of new contract management tool in Italy
  • Assure correct revenue recognition treatment for main customer contract in place
  • Work in conjunction with BI department in order to assure accuracy of rebates and marketing accrual
Pricing analysis
