THE POSITION:
For the headquarters in Cologno Monzese (Milan), Janssen is looking for a MEDICAL AFFAIRS ASSOCIATE ONCOLOGY. This is a permanent role in the Medical Affairs Department.
This Department manages the planning and implementation of all local and international Medical Affairs projects relating to the relevant Therapeutic Area, in compliance with current regulations and company policies.
The Medical Affairs Associate (MAA), who represents the medical-scientific reference point for the products of the therapeutic area of competence, is responsible for the following activities:- PLANNING AND SUPERVISION OF CLINICAL RESEARCH ACTIVITIES interventional / non-interventional, local and international, related to the therapeutic area of competence, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP, Standard Operating Procedures and corporate policies and compliance with current regulations and times and expected costs.
The MAA evaluates the strategic-scientific feasibility of each individual project; ensures the appropriate scientific management of Medical Affairs studies, including product safety aspects; plans the timing and modalities of the clinical studies, the execution of which is entrusted to the Department (GCO) which follows the implementation of these studies; ensures the communication of research results (clinical reports, publications, conferences, Investigator's meeting).
- CONTRIBUTION and MEDICAL-SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT to the business areas, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and company policies and compliance with current regulations.
preparation of scientific documentation, preparation of symposia, management of Medical Education events), verifies the scientific content of all research projects deriving from proposals internal or external to the Medical Affairs Department; verifies the technical-scientific contents relating to the promotional activities and materials and of the product printouts (technical data sheet, leaflet); reviews or draws up scientific documentation for regulatory purposes (expert report; clinical study report; etc.) and for HEMAR (Health Economics, Market Access and Reimbursement).
The MAA participates in team meetings and international projects and offers its contribution in identifying new areas of development or use of the company's products.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Degree in medicalscientific disciplines
- Deep knowledge and experience in Oncology
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical company (Medical Affairs or R&D) is preferred
- Language skills: Fluent English and Italian
- Computer skills: Knowledge of the Office package (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint).
