About the role
For our plant in Altopascio (Lucca), we are looking for an Line Leader.

You will have 30 direct reports and will be responsible for the entire production set-up (5M perspective in production area), reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

The Altopascio site, specialized in production of our brand Tempo e Tork, employs about 300 people with a Tissue machine (including cogeneration unit), as well as a converting department for folded products (Hankies and Napkins) with 4 production lines.

The role is in the converting department.

What You Will Do

  • Support Safety Corporate programs and prioritize a culture of Safety first and zero accidents
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control methodologies to set, monitor, and enhance processes
  • Establish and maintain process settings and standards for efficient operations
  • Support product and material development and project implementation through continuous improvement
  • Conduct technical gap analyses within their area of responsibility
  • Lead small group activities as a process and technology expert
  • Continuously optimize production processes sustainably through RCA and standardization
  • Train and coach operation teams to adhere to defined standards and procedures
  • Attend meetings, maintain line activity overview, collaborate with operators, promote excellence programs, share best practices, standardize systems, and execute production plans effectively

Who You Are

  • Holds a Graduate degree or relevant recognized professional qualification
  • Experienced in process manufacturing industries as Process Engineer or similar roles
  • Proficient in people management and labor disciplines
  • IT literate, with skills in MS Office, SAP, etc
  • Strategic and 360° thinker.
  • Ready to challenge the status quo.

  • Effective problemsolver.
  • Strong team player.
  • Communicates effectively across organizational levels.
  • Possesses strong presentation skills.
